Customer contract

Valid for court reservations made through smash.play.fi from June 2, 2025

Single court bookings are made at smash.play.fi and they are paid immediately online unless you have a customer contract.

With an approved customer contract, you may bypass the immediate online payment and pay for bookings later in the current month either online in “Omat varaukset” (My bookings) or at the service desk at Smash Center before any unpaid bookings are invoiced. In addition, contract customers may also choose to make reservations through customer service

Customer contracts are issued only to customers with a regular, fixed-time booking (“vakiovuoro”) for single bookings and Smash and EsTe-78 members for single and league bookings.

New regular, fixed-time contracts issued after May 16 2025, automatically include also a customer contract.

Customers must not have unpaid invoices to qualify.

Without a contract, only immediate online payment is accepted.

The customer contract may be terminated if the customer has, for example, payment defaults.

Applying for a customer contract

Customer contracts can be applied for members of Smash ry and EsTe-78 (Tennis-78 Espoo ry), as well as regular, fixed-time booking customers of Finland Tennis Oy. Customer contracts are granted to regular, fixed-timed booking customers for booking single sessions, and to members of Smash and EsTe-78 for booking and paying for single sessions and league matches.

New regular, fixed-time contracts issued after May 16 2025, automatically include also a customer contract, so these new customers do not need to apply for one separately.

To apply for a customer contract, you must first register in the court reservation system at smash.play.fi.

After registering and logging in, fill out and submit the application form available at smash.play.fi/asiakkuussopimus (available currently only in Finnish). Once your application has been processed and approved, you will receive a link by email for strong electronic identification. After identification, your customer contract will take effect. For minor customers, the identification must be completed by a guardian.

Booking and payment terms for customer contract holders

Once you have been granted a customer contract, you can make bookings without paying immediately at the time of booking. Instead, you can pay for your sessions retroactively during the same month via online payment on the "Omat varaukset” (My bookings) page or at the Smash Center service desk before any unpaid bookings are invoiced on the first business day of the following month. An invoicing fee will be added to the invoice according to the current rate. The person who made the reservation is responsible for the full price of the booking.

In addition, contract holders can make bookings through customer service if they wish.

Bookings can only be paid for at the Smash Center (address: Varikkotie 4, 00900 Helsinki) service desk during customer service opening hours, which may differ from Smash Center’s opening hours. Payment methods accepted include most major debit/credit cards and sports benefits Smartum-mobile, Epassi and Edenred-card. Cash is not accepted, and we do not accept Smartum paper vouchers starting from June 2, 2025.

If you wish to use your user account balance (“saldo”) for payment, the session must be paid immediately at the time of booking. Balance cannot be used for payments made later.

If you pay for a session in advance at the Smash Center service desk and later cancel or resell the session, the payment will not be refunded to your balance.

Olari Tennis, Arena Center Myllypuro and Kruunuvuorenranta outdoor courts do not have payment desks and therefore bookings cannot be paid for on-site. If you are a regular, fixed-time booking customer or have been granted a customer contract, you can pay the bookings retroactively during the current month via online payment or at the Smash Center reception (address: Varikkotie 4, 00900 Helsinki).
